Eat Your Veggies

Sigmund likes lettuce.

He must be part bunny rabbit, but I heard fruits and veggies are good for them, so why not!

I don't think he can really CHEW it... he just likes to play with it.

What happened to the summers that used to seem to long?

Here is is August, and we finally got to hit the trail and head out for our first backpacking trip of the summer.

Seven and a half miles up Eagle Creek Trail...

and you have Camp Wilder!

So do you think Sigmund REALLY likes to camp...

if all he likes to do is be in the tent?

And how cool is this... checkers even seven and a half miles up the trail.
Best part - we didn't have to pack it in!

Tunnel Falls

Definately worth the six miles up!
Tunnel Falls is this gorgeous waterfall that you actually get to walk under!
Talk about refreshing, on a hot summer afternoon.
I'm not sure Sigmund liked it.
In fact, he was slightly scared.
That's a HUGE drop-off we're standing there on the left!

Too Far?

Maybe 15 miles was too much for one little pug with short legs!
All the way home,
He kept laying down in the middle of the trail,
as if to say he'd had enough!
