Pooped pug (not the kind we like)

This is what a pug looks like after 5 days of play at the kennel / Doggie Day Care. (We were on vacation.)

He is pooped!
Trouble is, he's also poopy. Little buddy caught something there and hasn't been feeling too good... all over my house. You know what I'm saying?
Poor guy... and poor Pottery Barn rug!
Luckily - he usually goes for the bathtub - GOOD DOG!

Mornings at the Wilders'

Mornings at the Wilder's are a special time.

After everyone's walked and fed, I sit down for coffee,

Torrey Kittee settles in to her sunny perch in the window,

and Sigmund's taking a liking to finding a warm spot on the carpet.

He grabs a toy, chews for a while,

then settles down for a mid-morning nap.

Pug and his... Pug?

Does anyone else find it slightly weird that Sigmund is chewing on a... PUG?

He picked out this toy last week. We were out enjoying First Thursday - spending a little time in the stores... and this stuffed pug was in a basket on the floor. It's not for dogs - but Sigmund saw it and grabbed the little guy's tail and went to town! I looked at the clerk and handed her my credit card, no questions asked and said, "I guess we'll be buying that, now." I didn't really want to - but I couldn't stand the thought of some little girl picking it out and holding it after Sigmund left his doggie slobber all over it.

Ok- so that's the note and picture my friends sent me because they think that guy looks like a pug - and looks like Sigmund! ...... That's mean - for Sigmund!

Petey came over for the weekend and we took the dogs to the beach!
This was them begging to get out of the car to play.
