A day in the life of a pug in Portland's Pearl District. "Dogs have given us their absolute all. We are the center of their universe. We are the focus of their love and faith and trust. They serve us in return for scraps. It is without a doubt the best deal man has ever made." - Roger Caras

Sigmund in the Snow

Sigmund doesn't really like the snow, but he tolerates it!
We took him snow-shoeing this weekend and he did so well... At first. We bundled him up in his wool sweater with his jacket over that and he seemed nice and warm. For the first half hour, he ran up and down the trail, happy as could be! He didn't like sinking in so much, but he kept chugging up the hill. UNTIL - we got to a fork in the road and couldn't decide which way to go. That little "pause" was enough for him to decide he was DONE. He refused to budge. No matter how far away we got from him, what we tried to entice him with, he would not move. We finally went back to check on him and the poor little guy was shivering so hard, we packed him up in his pug pack and headed home. That was it! He had enough! Either that or he's much smarter than we think and figured out how to get a ride!
