A day in the life of a pug in Portland's Pearl District. "Dogs have given us their absolute all. We are the center of their universe. We are the focus of their love and faith and trust. They serve us in return for scraps. It is without a doubt the best deal man has ever made." - Roger Caras

Cyclo-Cross Pug

It's fall - and that means it's time for Cyclo-cross! These are a few pictures to capture Sigmund's adventures on the bike course.

The cow bell - It's a race tradition, so we got Sigmund involved so he can cheer Patrick on too! Ok - so it's a little big. We're working on a smaller one. I don't think he really likes it. He walks around with his head hung down a little. Pour guy - can't figure out why that sound is always following him.

Safety Cone - Sigmund is considered the "Safety Pug." It goes back to a race in Bend. This kid fell and blocked the course for quite a while. So, Sigmund and I had to direct bikes around them. The announcer nicknamed Sigmund, "Safety Pug."

Passed out Pug - This is how tired he is after tromping around through the mud all day. After he races hard for an hour, Patrick says he feels as tired as Sigmund looks.
